"I first met Imani when she was my preceptor in BIOC463A. She has always shared her laboratory knowledge and provided me with crucial information to help me succeed in the course. I now have taken over her spot as a preceptor of the course, and I could not have done it without her. We are currently interning together at SPARCC, a concussion care clinic. She is always there to help me with our patients, and is always happy to answer questions I have about our internship or the Biochemistry program in general." - Jacqueline Augustine

"I would like to nominate Jacqueline Augustine for CBC Student Month. I was a preceptor for her in the BIOC 463A lab, and it was such a pleasure helping her out in the lab setting as she was always so kind and hard-working during that period. Currently, I am an intern with her for the SPARCC clinical program and am very appreciative to be working with her. She will always offer to check-in the patients and will always assist them to the best of her ability. As she is pursuing her CNA certificate and serves as the treasurer for a pre-health honorary, she is incredibly busy yet manages to do her best in whichever setting she is placed in. I hope she is considered for this month!
SPARCC is a sports clinic in Tucson, only pediatric sports clinic in Tucson. Our job as interns involve concussion rehabilitation for all ages where we perform functions such as checking multidirectional eye movement, balance, eye convergence ability, heart rate, blood pressure, pupillary constriction, and cognitive function through exercise, checking-ins, pre-orthostatics, post-orthostatics, and check-outs as well as different cognitive exams. Jackie and I intern at the same time at the same location, occasionally working together." - Imani Ralph
