CBC Alumni Spotlight on Mark Leick

Mark Leick B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, Biosystems Engineering, and Molecular & Cellular Biology (2009) Undergraduate Research Mentor: Mark Riley 

After graduating in 2009, Mark Leick earned his medical degree from Georgetown University, followed by residency training in the Johns Hopkins Osler Medical Residency program. He then completed a clinical oncology fellowship through the combined program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Following a postdoctoral research fellowship, Dr. Leick is currently a Principal Investigator at Harvard Medical School. His laboratory focuses on investigating ways to make chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy safer and more effective. Clinically, he cares for patients receiving CAR-T cell therapy at MGH. 

He and his wife reside just outside Boston and welcomed their first daughter this past December.
