Meet Riley McCarty!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Riley McCarty, the newest member team member! Riley joins us as an Administrative Support Assistant for CBC.

"My name is Riley McCarty, and I’m excited to join the CBC as the new Administrative Support Assistant. I will be working closely with the Graduate Advisor and the CBC Front Office. I come from a background of Special Education and IT Support. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Working in Special Education taught me the value of patience, empathy, and adaptability. I learned how to communicate effectively across a wide range of abilities, advocate for individual needs, and collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. In IT Support, I learned strong technical and problem-solving skills that allowed me to best tailor support for each student. Outside of work, my full-time job is entertaining my cat, Funyun. Also, I tend to spend my free time listening to music, hiking, traveling, and playing video games. I’m really looking forward to supporting the CBC and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes." ~ Riley.
