ASEM Scholars Program
The Arizona Science, Engineering, and Math (ASEM) Scholars Program provides resources and support to promising students from underrepresented backgrounds in STEM.
UA MARC Program
The Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program is a unique research, mentoring, and financial opportunity for students belonging to a group considered underrepresented in biomedical research and who have interest and potential to pursue a Ph.D. or combined Ph.D. (e.g., MD/Ph.D.) degree.
Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP)
The Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) enhances undergraduate education by partnering with researchers and resources of the University of Arizona to provide opportunities for students to participate in mentored, self-directed work which contributes to the fund of new knowledge. Through UBRP, students learn the conduct of research, develop professional and communication skills, learn about a variety of biological research topics, and join a community of like-minded scholars.

UROC provides participants with excellent research training and graduate school preparation.

UA CCC Community Councils
The CCC Community Councils are autonomous groups of dedicated volunteer community leaders. Their primary mission is to foster cultural understanding and provide crucial support and advice during crises, where timely action is essential.
Guerrero Student Center
The Adalberto & Ana Guerrero Student Center came into existence as a result of student activism and has served many generations of Latinx/e students at the University of Arizona. Today, the center continues to support Latinx/e students to achieve academic and personal excellence by cultivating and fostering a sense of belonging on campus.
Lotus Lounge Student Space
This cultural space, formerly known as APASA, was established in 1993 due to the help of student activism by some students from our first club, the Asian American Cultural Association, and other students from marginalized communities.
MLK Jr. Student Space
The MLK Jr. Student Space is more than just a spot on campus, it’s a vibrant hub where belonging meets purpose. The MLK Jr. Student Space is here to celebrate culture, fuel academic excellence, and champion the voices and achievements of Black students and leaders at the University of Arizona.
Omnes Disability Student Space
This space welcomes disabled students, faculty, staff, allies and community partners to engage with, learn about and celebrate disability identity, culture and pride.
Pride Student Space
The Pride Student Space (formerly known as the LGBTQ+2s (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, and Two Spirit) Resource Center) serves as a hub for many of the LGBTQ+2s initiatives on campus with a priority to centering the needs QTPOC (Queer and Trans People of Color) students.
UA Women and Gender Student Space
The Women and Gender Student Center works toward creating change on campus by addressing patriarchy and misogyny, engaging in feminist liberation efforts at the intersections of various identities such as sex, gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity and nationality, class, sexual orientation, and disability.

LGBTQ+ College Student Guide - Intelligent
LGBTQ students have a significant presence on college campuses. In 2018, an Association of American Universities survey of over 180,000 university students found that 16.9% of students identify as non-heterosexual. While many colleges try to make their campuses welcoming to LGBTQ students, their success rate varies.

The University of Arizona (UA) offers our current and incoming Native American students personalized scholarships and financial aid services. Native American Student Affairs
The mission of UA Native American Student Affairs (NASA) is to provide culturally sensitive academic counseling and support services to American Indian/Alaskan Native students enabling them to achieve academic excellence.
The University Religious Council (URC)
URC is a collection of the ministers/directors of the religious/spiritual/cultural groups at the University of Arizona. This organization has been in existence since 1948, helping to provide spiritual support and growth to students.
