Cong Pham Summer Internship, Systems Oncology in Scottsdale, AZ

I have had one of the greatest summers ever before. For this past summer, I was fortunate to land an internship at a for-profit biotechnology company called Systems Oncology in Scottdale, Arizona where I actively conducted medical research in the field of cancer drug development. I feel extremely grateful because I can gain more industrial experiences. I have applied my academic knowledge in an industrial and practical context as well as having chance to get involve in medical and clinical research. On the other hand, I was able to connect with many active professionals in the medical field which facilitate me to gain more self- experiences. I have learned so much more about medical research and laboratory practices from my colleagues, research associates, and senior scientists.
