2026 Admitted Student Day on February 27
On February 27, 2026, the University of Arizona hosted the first of three scheduled Student Admitted Day (ASD) events for admitted students interested in Chemistry and Biochemistry majors. Following the welcome session in the Grand Ballroom, attendees participated in departmental sessions led by the CBC advising staff Jasmine Eyssallenne-Cook and Olivia Mendoza, who provided an overview of Chemistry and Biochemistry majors, curriculum and academic opportunities.
CBC Ambassadors - Noah Canisales, Elizabeth Cashwell, Olivia Dobra, Yanely Hurtado, Melanie Perez, Michaela Ryan, and Erin Schuette – then shared insights into their research experiences and campus life before guiding visitors on lab tours with Dr. Dee Belle-Oudry and Dr. John Jewett. The remaining ASD events will take place on March 20, and April 11.
