Spotlight on CBC Ambassador Gavin Arnold

Hello, my name is Gavin Arnold and I'm an incoming second-year biochemistry major with a minor in neuroscience and a W. A. Franke Honors College student.   I'm originally from Fountain Hills, Arizona and have had a wonderful time here at UArizona, especially with becoming involved in organizations such as Chemistry Club and Alpha Epsilon Delta. 

I am currently doing research in Dr. Robin Polt’s lab after recently completing the Undergraduate Biology Research Program this summer.  I’m also excited to participate in the CBC Ambassadorship and Peer Mentorship programs in the coming year as they will be wonderful opportunities to support my peers and promote CBC. Outside of school, I try to stay very active by practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, lifting weights, and working in the UA Community Garden. In the future, I hope to be accepted into medical school and pursue an MD.
