New Graduate Student Story: Lahiru Mudalige

Shout out to a new CBC Graduate Student Lahiru Mudalige 

"Hi everyone! I’m a new graduate student in Chemistry at the University of Arizona. I completed my B.Sc. Honours Degree in Chemistry at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. 

I’m excited to begin my graduate journey at the University of Arizona and explore new areas of Chemistry through research. In the short term, my goal is to develop as an independent researcher, learn new techniques, and contribute meaningfully to the CBC community. After completing my graduate studies, I hope to pursue a career in academia, where I can continue exploring scientific questions and contribute to the next generation of scientists. 

Fun fact about me: Astronomy is my favorite hobby, especially observing the night sky through telescopes. I enjoy exploring the wonders of the universe and learning more about the cosmos." ~ Lahiru
