Jeffrey Pyun Announced as Laureate of the 2nd Krzysztof Matyjaszewski Award

Dr. Jeffrey Pyun's pioneering contributions to inverse vulcanisation, sustainable sulphur-based polymeric materials, and advanced functional polymers have opened important new directions in polymer chemistry and materials science, with significant applications in energy, optics, and engineering. It is a great honour for IETI to recognise these outstanding achievements through this award.
Named after Krzysztof Matyjaszewski, polymer scientist and J.C. Warner University Professor of Natural Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University, whose invention of Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) revolutionized modern polymer synthesis.
