Meet Isabela Rocha, a new CBC Graduate Student

"My name is Isabela, and I am from Brazil. I’ve always wanted to study abroad, and the U of A was actually a gift because, at one point, I had lost hope of being accepted into any program. So, yes, I am really happy to be here and start this new chapter in my life!

I really hope to make some good friends along the way and learn a lot so I can become the person my inner child would be proud of.

Fun fact about me: When I was a child, I wanted to be a stylist and loved drawing wedding dresses. And look at me now: I’ve become a researcher!" ~ Isabela
