Meet Jasmine Eyssallenne-Cook!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Jasmine Eyssallenne-Cook, the newest member of our team as an undergraduate academic advisor for CBC!
"My name is Jasmine Eyssallenne-Cook and I am the new undergraduate academic advisor for CBC. I graduated from the University of Arizona in December of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, with minors in EEB and Philosophy. During my undergraduate years at the U of A, I spent my time working in academic and student support, and resource and community engagement roles such as interning at the A Center, precepting for the philosophy department, and working at the VETS Center. I have a strong passion for the sciences, especially, a keen interest in life sciences, and research in primatology and environmental conservation. On my free time I love spending time with my rottweiler, Cooper Pupp, painting, hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, and going to concerts and plays. As a military brat, I moved a lot and got to experience living in different countries and meeting people form all over the world. Being adaptive to change and immersing myself in a multitude of backgrounds, values and experiences ultimately led me down a path of being able to empathize, support, and build community among differences, and coming to the U of A helped me find my role in and passion for academia, research, and student support. Down the line, I hope to assist others towards their own goals and success stories as an Academic Advisor." ~ Jasmine.
