Let us welcome our new CBC faculty member, Felix Tao!

"I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Arizona, where I teach and lead a research group focused on catalysis and energy science. My research aims to develop scientific and technological solutions that can help improve human living conditions.
Using unique techniques and methods that we have developed throughout my career, my research group investigates and designs new materials to improve the efficiency of energy conversion and chemical production. We place particular emphasis on achieving a fundamental understanding of chemical processes at the atomic scale and uncovering the relationships between the atomic-level structures of materials and their functions.
