"Ika sets an amazing example as both a student and friend. She is extremely dedicated to helping others, not only officially as an EMT and preceptor, but also volunteering whenever she notices someone could use a hand. Her approachability and experience have really helped me learn more about chemistry, whether patiently answering questions as a preceptor in my first semester of ochem when I wasn't brave enough to ask the professor in front of the whole lecture hall to more recently explaining how personal statements work when I didn't even know where to start for research applications. Her willingness to always find the time for others despite everything she does is really inspiring." ~ Anna Campbell
