CBC Welcomes Katherine Jones as a First-Year Chemistry Undergraduate

Meet Katherine Jones, a first-year Chemistry undergraduate with a bright future ahead at the University of Arizona!

“Hello future and fellow Wildcats! My name is Katherine Jones. I graduated from San Tan Foothills High School this past May and have been celebrating with my family in small ways as they help support me taking my final steps towards college! I am absolutely stoked to attend the University of Arizona this fall semester, where I’ll be majoring in Chemistry under the Bioanalytics track.

My hopes after graduation are to become a medicine researcher in order to assist in forwarding the medical field even further. Science has always been such a massive part of my life, as I can always trust it to answer the ‘why?’ to many of the phenomena I’ve witnessed over the years. It’s for this reason I’m so excited to dedicate my studies and research towards it as a CBC student and as part of UofA’s Class of 2028!”
