2025 Class of Astronaut Scholars: Natalie Rawlings

Congratulations to Natalie Rawlings for being selected as a 2025 Astronaut Scholar!
Natalie is a junior in the W.A. Franke Honors College pursuing degrees in both Molecular and Cellular Biology and Biochemistry. Natalie is passionate about uncovering the molecular basis of disease and developing better therapeutics for patients who have limited options. Natalie has goals of becoming a physician-scientist who develops and optimizes therapeutics for patients with rare diseases.
The prestigious Astronaut Scholarship is known nationwide for being among the largest merit-based monetary scholarships awarded to undergraduate juniors and seniors in STEM. Each Astronaut Scholar receives $15,000. Qualifying schools such as the U of A can nominate two students each year for this scholarship.
