ARCS Scholar Award - Alessandra Fistrovich

Congratulations to Alessandra Fistrovich for receiving the prestigious ARCS Scholar Award. Alessandra will officially be recognized as a Ben and Catherine Ivy Foundation Scholar.

ARCS Scholars are impressive in their field and influential. The process for becoming an ARCS Scholar is highly competitive and is based on the impact of the student’s research. By becoming an ARCS Scholar, Alessandra has been awarded full tuition from the Graduate College, an annual travel grant and a cash stipend.

Alessandra will also be invited to a business attire only Annual Scholar Awards Dinner in April at a country club in Phoenix where Alessandra will have another opportunity to present research.

The funding organization, the Ivy Foundation, is on a mission to find a cure for brain cancer. The foundation offers state-of-the-art clinical trials for patients with aggressive brain tumors, and allows patients to receive individualized treatment in a fraction of the time and costs associated with traditional drug research and development.
