CBC was well represented at the College of Science New Student Welcome Event on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Bear Down Gym by Dr. Dee Belle-Oudry, Dr. Katrina Miranda, CBC Advisor Jasmine Eyssallene-Cook, Olivia Mendoza, along with CBC ambassadors and peer mentors. The Chemistry Club was also present at the club fair throughout the day.
There were approximately 1700 new College of Science students in attendance, including 180 incoming CBC first-year students. Among the largest projected majors, Psychology led with nearly 400 students, followed by Biology with 300 students. Third was CBC with 119 Biochemistry majors and 63 Chemistry majors!
