W. A. Franke Honors College student, Class of 2023

I am so excited to be graduating in May with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Microbiology. My plan after graduation is to go straight into industry. I am currently applying for full-time positions at biopharmaceutical companies in California.

I have a math minor and work as an undergraduate teaching coordinator for Math 100 at the University of Arizona. I also do research at the WEST center under Dr. Walter Betancourt where my projects (and my senior and honors thesis) are focused on the quantification and identification of viruses in wastewater.
