CBC continues to celebrate Hispanic Heritage! Join us as we highlight our students and alumni while they share their stories!
"My name is Keren Chávez Goraum. I am a 3rd-year Chemistry PhD student in the Jewett lab, where my research focuses on the synthesis of chemical probes for biological systems. Hispanic Heritage is worth celebrating! Some ways I have been able to contribute culturally and reconnect with my roots include doing translating work from English to Spanish for some chemistry comic books (check them out) (https://kidschemicalsolutions.com/en-espanol/ ), teaching salsa dance lessons, and dancing with Ritmos Latinos, (https://ritmoslatinos.org/ )a salsa dancing club open to students and community members - please come dance with us!"
