CBC at the 2026 Tucson Festival of Books Fair

Wonderful events took place at the Tucson Festival of Books this year! In an effort to spark more interest in chemistry, the Student Members of American Chemical Society in PAWS and SMACS hosted a booth where CBC students led PH and redox demonstrations. This took place in the Science of Everyday Life tent at Science City.
CBC continues to receive frequent outreach requests for presentations, demonstrations, lab tours, and participation in career fairs. CBC faculty, staff, and student volunteers regularly support schools and organizations across Tucson with a strong tradition of community engagement while sharing the excitement of chemistry and biochemistry with learners of all ages.
