To be competitive for the Best Thesis Award, the thesis should present and describe significant original research findings that involve the student’s own initiative, creativity, technical and interpretive skill, and effort. These findings should be presented by the student with a high level of skill in written communication, the design of clear and illustrative data figures and schematics, and a thorough treatment of the relevant scientific literature and context, with appropriate citation and bibliography practices.

There is a first, second and third place with a monetary award. Students must submit their thesis on a specific deadline to be eligible and a Fall or Spring  graduate. The winners are selected by a team of Biochemistry  faculty.  Winners will be honored at the CBC Convocation and Awards Program in Spring.
