October Staff of the Month: Peggy Humbert

Congratulations to Peggy Humbert on being recognized as a CBC Staff Member of the Month for October 2024, nominated by Ms. Stephanie Boysen.

Stephanie wrote:
"CBC Teaching Support Office Admin, Peggy Humbert, has been instrumental in providing guidance and assistance to co-workers and staff, without hesitation. Since April of this year, I have had multiple opportunities to witness Peggy reach beyond being helpful. I've noticed that Peggy is often going into the deep realm of offering her knowledge, experience, and most importantly, her time, when she is asked for assistance.
  
Being a new employee in April, I was assigned tasks that required Peggy's knowledge. Peggy, on numerous occasions, has selflessly offered helpful tips for performing my duties, has directed me when I've reached out because I am "lost" and has treated me kindly with each inquiry I send her way. It should be noted that Peggy and the other TSO Staff have "full plates" with duties they perform and Peggy always takes time out of her schedule to ensure I have a well thought out and helpful answer for any questions I may have. Feeling intimidation, or fearing I would be answered condescendingly, has never been a worry for me; even if I ask the same questions, more than one time.
  
The kindness exhibited by Peggy while she patiently explains the Department's needs for any project, even while she has a full list of to-do items with deadlines herself, deserves the highest recognition. Peggy's constant efforts to assist CBC happen so habitually and are so commonplace, we truly appreciate her.
