Undergraduate, Truc Le, selected as Fall 2024 Outstanding Senior

Congratulations to Truc Le who was selected as CBC’s Fall 2024 Outstanding Senior!

Truc Le is a senior graduating with Honors in Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences. At the U of A, she has been a CBC ambassador, peer mentor, and TA for chemistry, which has deepened her passion for helping others in their academic journey. Her recent research experience was in a drug discovery/physiology laboratory (Boitano lab) where she evaluated new antagonists to the G protein-coupled receptor, protease-activated receptor-2 (PAR2), and their ability to moderate asthma in animal models. After graduation, Truc plans to attend pharmacy school and envisions herself not only treating patients but also conducting research that can improve therapeutic strategies and lead to more personalized treatments.
