Teaching Assistant Spotlight: John Federice

Meet another CBC TA, John Federice who is a first-year Organic Chemistry Graduate student. Currently, he is a TA for CHEM 243B (organic chemistry). He lectures the students about lab safety and making the lab a fun and safe environment. John’s favorite part is interacting with the students and lecturing to them. He tries to make organic chemistry fun and exciting. One of his favorite quotes that he shares with people is “Embrace the uncertainty”.

Being in chemistry you learn that it’s okay to be unsure of yourself and of what you’re doing, and he has learned to embrace the unknown.
