My name is Addison Coen and I am a 4th year PhD student in the Lichtenberger lab. My research includes studying iron based hydrogen evolution catalysts and studying long wave IR transparent materials. Currently I'm mentoring 4 undergraduate students on a few different research projects where the main focus is to help them gain exposure to research environments and engage their critical problem solving skills. In my time here, I've enjoyed getting to help with recruiting events for the department and helping new international grad students get acclimated to Tucson this year. In my free time you can usually find me swimming at the rec, playing my ukulele, or playing board/video games at home.
