CBC's Student of the Month in April: Gavin Arnold

Congratulations to Gavin Arnold, CBC's Student of the Month in April! Gavin was nominated by Karen Valencia.

I would like to nominate Gavin Arnold for CBC Student of the Month for April 2023. He is involved in many organizations on campus such as SFS, Chemistry Club (he’s the VP), AED, and research.  He’s involved in the W. A Franke Honors college, and he’s a great student and peer. He is always able to help anyone with homework, and gives people resources and information to join different kinds of programs/organizations, as what he did with me this afternoon. I personally believe that he would be great for April 2023 Student of the Month.  ~Karen Valencia

Hello, my name is Gavin Arnold and I'm a first year biochemistry major with a minor in neuroscience. I'm originally from Fountain Hills, Arizona and have had a wonderful time here at the UA, especially with becoming involved in organizations such as Chemistry Club and Alpha Epsilon Delta. I’m also excited to participate in the CBC Ambassadorship and Peer Mentorship programs in the coming year as they will be wonderful opportunities to support my peers and promote CBC. Outside of school, I try to stay very active by practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, lifting weights, and volunteering in the UA Community Garden. In the future, I hope to be accepted into medical school and pursue a MD.
