CBC New Student Spotlight: Adrian De la Peña

Hello! My name is Adrian De la Peña, and I just graduated from Rio Rancho High School in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, this past May.

I am thrilled to be a part of the University of Arizona W.A. Franke Honors College! I am majoring in Biochemistry, and I hope to conduct pharmaceutical research in the near future.

I have always loved learning about the molecular structure and microscopic causes of larger real world problems, so I hope to apply this knowledge in a way that helps others. I can't wait to join the University of Arizona Chemistry/Biochemistry department this August!
