John Hostetter Award

John Hostetter was an employee in the Department of Biochemistry for many years. After his death in 1986, his family set up this scholarship fund in his honor. As John especially enjoyed meeting and talking with students from China, this scholarship is open to both foreign and domestic graduate students.

Purpose

The Hostetter Award is given each year to a graduate student who has demonstrated academic excellence as well as strong financial need.

Eligibility

All graduate students, foreign and domestic, working in the labs of primary Biochemistry faculty are eligible for consideration.
