Congratulation to Jeffrey Groch, who was selected as the 2022-2023 Victor P. Thalacker Chemistry Fellow!

"I grew up in Tucson and obtained my B.S degree in Chemistry here at the University of Arizona. I decided to continue at the University of Arizona and found myself proceeding to seek a PhD in Organic Chemistry within the Lab of Dr. Jon Njardarson.

"Currently, I am a 3^rd year student, and my current research within Jon’s lab has revolved around further developing annulation cascades for the rapid assembly of complex aromatic molecules and the development of methodologies for the synthesis and use of organophosphorus reagents.

"Outside the lab, I like to cook and make various types of coffee and tea."
