September 15 – October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month! 

Did you know that the discovery of Vanadium, the role of free radicals in aging, the development of oral contraceptives, and our understanding of the mechanisms of the formation and decomposition of ozone in the stratosphere are all thanks to the efforts of chemists and biochemists of Hispanic and Latino heritage?
