CBC Outreach Highlight: PAWS and CBC Ambassadors and Dr. Thomas Purcell at Banks Elementary School

On Tuesday, February 20th, CBC was well represented at the STEM Night at Banks Elementary School by PAWS, CBC Ambassadors, and Dr. Thomas Purcell. PAWS had a pH change experiment and extracted DNA from strawberries.

Megan Hahn and Elizabeth Harper, CBC Ambassadors, shared their experience in STEM at UArizona. Dr. Purcell had a demo that demonstrated how detergent interacts with the fats in milk by using it to spread out food coloring on the milk's surface.
