HyperCube Scholar Award

Chemistry and Biochemistry is grateful for the generosity of Hypercube, Inc. in sponsoring the HyperCube Scholar undergraduate award

This award is granted to one or two outstanding students.  The Hypercube Scholar award for scholastic excellence in chemistry or biochemistry, consisting of a certificate of recognition signed by the president and CEO of Hypercube, Inc., and the newest version of HyperChem software, was established in 1998 by Hypercube Inc. It is given to an outstanding CBC junior major who has shown excellence in courses and research and who has shown an interest in chemical molecular modeling, and plans to attend graduate school.

To be eligible for this award, students must be officially declared undergraduate CBC majors in good academic standing (and typically have >3.0 GPA in the major courses). To apply, students must submit a letter of interest indicating the value of this prize to their education or research interests, or to be nominated by a CBC Faculty Member. Letters must be submitted to the CBC Program Coordinator, Olivia Mendoza, by email at omendoza@email.arizona.edu, or delivered to the Old Chemistry Building , room 210A. Deadline for submission is usually in March of every spring semester.  A committee of faculty and staff will select the winner(s) each year and present the award during the CBC reception in the spring.

Most scholarships are due in Spring. To learn more about UArizona Scholarships visit: Scholarship Universe.
