The Victor J. Hruby Fellowship in Peptide Research focuses on supporting interdisciplinary scientific resesearch on peptides, which is a trademark of Professor Hruby's style and achievements in this area of scientific research and drug discovery.

In 1993, alumni, postdoctoral fellows and research associates of Regents' Professor Victor J. Hruby established the first fellowship supporting graduate students at the University of Arizona who are engaged in the study of peptide research. This fellowship is given to graduate students for outstanding research.

Eligibility

Student candidates must possess a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 and have passed their preliminary oral examination. Their performance will be evaluated via seminars, pubications, and presentations at meetings. Technical skills, creativity, and scientific leadership will also be considered.
