“Understanding processes on surfaces of solids using theoretical modeling”

Background of Research
The goal of Dr. Göltl’s research is to apply a holistic design approach to predict the performance of heterogeneous catalysts for environmental and energy applications. He develops and applies state of the art theoretical and machine learning based methods to understand and predict synthesis, preparation and performance of these systems under realistic conditions.
