Isabelle Harrison Named August 2019 Student of the Month

Congratulations to Isabelle Harrison, who has been selected as the August 2019 Student of the Month.

Nominator Sara Lee Jones says this about Isabelle: "All throughout the month I got to witness Isabelle working exceptionally hard over the end of summer break and the first week of classes. Although I could list SO many reasons as to why she deserves this recognition, the best example of her diligence comes from the Chemistry Club. She's really taken initiative as the new Executive Outreach Coordinator by contributing so many fresh and fun ideas for our club this year. She took it upon herself to make matching tie dyed T-shirts for the new officer board (they look amazing, by the way), and she has planned a bunch of engaging events and socials that I know our members will really enjoy. She also consistently works with local schools to put on presentations that gives young students a chance to see the "magic" of science. As the President of the club, I truly couldn't have asked for a better team member - leaders like her that make the Chemistry Club the best it can be. I'm so grateful to have her as a friend, and I'm excited to see the amazing things she'll accomplish during the rest of the school year!"
