I was born and raised in India, and I completed my undergraduate studies in chemistry at Shiv Nadar University in Greater Noida, India. During that time, I performed research in Dr. Goutam Chowdhury's lab where I discovered my passion for chemical biology. I'm now a third-year Ph.D. student in Dr. Indraneel Ghosh's lab at the University of Arizona. My research involves using the bivalent inhibitor strategy previously developed in Dr. Ghosh's lab to develop selective probes to target protein phosphatases with the goal of understanding their functions in signaling pathways and in diseases. Outside of chemistry, I love reading novels, competitive ballroom dancing, and puns.
