Kaitlyn McLeod graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology. During her undergraduate career, Kaitlyn was involved in melanoma research with the Hruby lab and was a lab instructor for introductory biology. She was awarded a number of department specific awards for research and scholarship, including the Galileo Circle Award, Michael A. Wells award, and the Excellence in Biological Sciences Award. Since graduating summa cum laude from the University of Arizona in May 2015, Kaitlyn has worked as an instructional specialist for the introductory biology lab course at the University of Arizona. Kaitlyn plans to continue integrating research and teaching into her future education as she is beginning medical school this Fall.
