Jibriel is a graduating honors senior majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular/Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He is an Undergraduate Biology Research Program Fellow (UBRP) and is currently conducting research for his honors thesis with Dr. Ronald Heimark at the University Cancer Center on prostate cancer, specifically focusing on the androgen receptor and the proteina and molecules relevant to its cellular pathways in hopes of shedding light on prostate cancer's mechanism of growth. He is currently a medical scribe at Urological Associates of Southern Arizona, PC. Upon graduating, Jibriel will continue his research and scribing while applying to medical schools in hopes of matriculating into the class of 2025. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching soccer as well as hanging out with his cat, Taj.
