Sarah Pattengale

Sarah PattengaleIn 2014, I transferred to the University of Arizona from Asbury University, in Kentucky. I am a senior pursuing my degree in biochemistry and minor in molecular and cellular biology. I am a chemistry and biochemistry tutor for CATS Academics and an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Dr. Matthew Cordes. My current research involves the study of fold evolution in Cro proteins. I plan to pursue my PhD in biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin in Fall 2016. In the future, I plan to apply my understanding of structural biology to analyze medically relevant proteins in the hopes of understanding different mechanisms of disease. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, watching sports, and playing with my adorable dog, CeCe.
