Dagoberto Robles

Dagoberto RoblesHello, my name is Dagoberto Robles and I am currently a junior attending the University of Arizona and I am double majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology. Currently I am part of the Undergraduate Biology Research Program and work in a lab that specializes in pain pharmacology. This is my third year working in this lab and my PI’s name is Dr. Frank Porreca. This is my second year as the treasurer for the Biochemistry club, which is a club that is dedicated to spreading scientific knowledge to the Tucson community. I am also an ambassador for the department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. When I am not doing science related activities, I spend my free time drawing, singing in a choir, working out, and playing basketball. When I graduate, I plan to hopefully join medical school and become a surgeon. At the moment, I am not sure exactly what type of surgeon I want to be, so I am keeping my options open.
