General Chemistry

General Chemistry does not have make up lab.  Please contact the teaching assistant for your lab section for more information.

Organic Chemistry

First semester Organic lab, 243a, does not have make up lab. Please see your lab syllabus, D2L modules, and contact the teaching assistant (TA) for your lab section for more information.

Second semester Organic Lab 243b make-up lab:
If you miss an Organic Chemistry 243b lab, see your D2L Lab page for dates and times of the make-up labs. You must print and fill out the make-up lab contract (posted on the D2L page) in addition to completing all prelab assignments before going to the make-up lab.

NOTE: 243b students are allowed to attend no more than two make-up labs during the semester, and the missed lab must be made up during the scheduled lab week or the week following the lab. The only exceptions are as follows:

If you need to attend a 3rd (or more) make-up lab you will need special permission from and a signature on your make-up lab contract by Dr. Anglin and present a Dean’s excuse or doctor’s excuse for the missed experiment.

After the standard “make-up week” has passed you will need special permission from and a signature on your make-up lab contract by Dr. Anglin and present a Dean’s excuse or doctor’s excuse stating specifically why the lab could not be made up within the standard “make-up week”.

It is your responsibility to sign into the make-up log and get the make-up lab TA’s signature on your make-up lab contract as well as your lab notebook sheets to provide proof to your TA that you completed your work in during the make-up lab.
