Dr. John Jewett Wins National Science Foundation CAREER Award

Congratulations to Dr. John Jewett who has received the prestigious Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The CAREER awards are the highest honor bestowed by the NSF to scientists early in their career, and they are given to junior faculty who embody the role of the teacher-scholar. This award will support the Jewett group’s ongoing work with triazabutadienes, showcasing their utility in the complexity of biochemical systems, as well as John’s outreach program where he mentors students from the Baboquivari Middle School. We are extremely proud of this great recognition of John’s scholarly, educational and outreach achievements.
