Dakotah Shreiner is majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Arizona. She is currently conducting research in the Dr. Daniela Zarnescu lab, focusing on glycolysis and other metabolic pathways of the disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) in fruit flies. She also joined the Undergraduate Biology Research program that allowed her to further expand her research this past year. After graduation, Dakotah intends to start a career at a biotechnology company following a masters in either Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Business Administration. In her free time, she likes to watch movies, practice yoga, and travel with family.
