Students Sara Lee Jones (left) and Cady Flohrschutz from the University of Arizona's Chemistry Club hand out samples of lemonade they flash froze using liquid nitrogen at the 2019 Tucson Festival of Books.

The annual festival attracts more than 135,000 book lovers to the UA Mall and nearby venues for exhibits, author presentations, panel discussions, and hands-on science activities and demonstrations held in the Science City tent. The next Tucson Festival of Books will be held in March 2020 on the UA main campus.
