Bianca Reilly

Bianca ReillyBianca Georgia Reilly developed a passion for science her sophomore year of high school in a biotechnology course that enabled her to establish connections with faculty members at the University of Arizona. Her literature research regarding protein-ligand interactions while in high school lead to a hunger for knowledge that could only be satisfied by Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology degrees at the UA. She has contributed to a variety of projects while at the university including drug development for Parkinson's disease, methods to improve patient dosing of antivenom, as well as exploring therapies for stroke patients. When she is not in the lab, you can find her out hiking in the mountains, trying a new fitness routine, or volunteering with the UA chapter of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega.
