Ali Icenogle graduated from Desert Vista High School in 2012 and is currently a Biochemistry major with minors in Spanish and Gender & Women's Studies. She is an undergraduate researcher in the College of Pharmacy, where she studies the proteins implicated in Glucocorticoid Receptor-mediated gene expression. In terms of extracurriculars, Ali is a member of the pre-health honorary Alpha Epsilon Delta and volunteers at Reed's Compounding Pharmacy. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks in the desert and drinking excessive amounts of coffee. In the future, she plans to pursue a PharmD, and a PhD in pharmacogenomics or pharmacology so that she may participate in personalized drug development.
