Mentoring Program

As students approach their final years of study and prepare for their first post-graduate role outside the university setting, access to scientific professionals in non-academic roles for guidance and advice can be extremely valuable in identifying relevant opportunities and positioning themselves for successful navigation of the hiring and onboarding processes. The CiCS Mentoring Program serves to provide a framework for these interactions. In turn, it is expected that CBC graduate students and postdoctoral fellows participating in the CiCS Mentoring Program will have greater confidence in their career direction, identify more opportunities of interest, be better prepared for pursuing available roles, and successfully secure jobs of choice.
